Filling life's voidA Poem by EmpressPoetessJust some personal thoughts
Life is full of voids and empty places Pain can be seen on mournful faces Seeking solace from higher graces To help in filling in the spaces Left by time’s consuming embraces. Cheer yourself with gladness of heart Let not even time’s whip make you smart Don’t place all your eggs in one cart Learn to use your gifts parents did impart Of wisdom and your intellectual art. Love and peace immures us in stages As we write our life on invisible pages Learn from books of ancient sages To guard your heart throughout the ages Erase with wisdom, what causes rages. © 2010 EmpressPoetess |
