Albert’s Blue Rose Poetry café Tovli’s Ten revisited “Ten for Ten”

One fine day, I peeked into the book of life

Searching for the reason for many things

when my eyes beheld the creation of earth

and of human existence, and this reiterated

to me how fragile is this humble substance

we call life, how we fail to see the folly

if we don’t listen to the voice of reason and

the wisdom found within these ancient pages
indeed, it is more than a book for reading

it is the treasured doorway to eternal life.
