Entrance

A Poem by Empirik

Brilliance boils bounty atop coils
Heated to perfection and ready to serve
Crawling down the pipe, standing full of verve
To speak words with intellect of the smartest curve
Remaining calm and under the radar
Searching far and wide in mind to catch a glimpse of her
Unable to gesture as tradition has it
The eyes fill the breeze and cross the lands
Raven's would return with messages of should
Leaving nothing to be said but what they could
Risking death
Compelled breath
Running his tongue like a tired dog
Finally meeting rest as the wind stops
A new image emerges
It's calling him out to a duel
Only this is no fool
With a sword or fists he will protect
All is needed is one good full thrust
She sees it all then in him who did not fight
That all her spirit, love and strength died with his might

The strength to know better, but not loose her. As this is also one of my fasvorite DnB tunes. Enjoy!

In life, pure love and infatuation can blind people do see through pink glasses, delusions of grandeur that are born, often powerful feelings that have control over the rational. You expressed a very intelligent piece of psychology. In two ways, with winks and stabbing under water, as it is a Dutch proverb. I thought this was another brilliant piece puzzle poetry, as the Rubix-cube, I will dissolve. :D

Wonderful,
Truly,

Wow! This has a Grandeur presence about it...An Epic love story..
I love the music accompanying your Poem, adding an intensity to it.
The yearning for her, the one he cannot touch, is depicted nicely~

"searching far and wide in mind just to catch a glimpse of her

This is a Brilliantly written piece!

Oh, I love this song.....give me a moment....
I love the reference to the raven. The raven, an omen of an end. There is an old Indian myth called the "Raven Mocker" that shaman's have. That is what this reminded me of. But not a physical death, the ending of a feeling, of a love. I really liked how this poem flowed, moving from thought to thought, not so much with a fluidity but a choppy necessity. I like it!
