Spring RainA Poem by Empirik
It's extraordinarily blue right now
Two evergreens intertwined in reach I am a subtle breach of peace Seeing storm coming as one has just past The brilliance turns to gray at last Clickity clack branch smack In wind caring no lack of strength Shaking like a dog after a shower Beating off the last droplets of power Falling down on you from the tallest tower Running for cover as instinct knows sickness rides in the storm tonight Testing might in the dark alright Keeping close the sight one once light Showing fright in the fight for what's right Hauling in that bulb so bright Narrowing the focus Closing the ring Laser pointing an unbreakable stream following the curve Heating the inside of every nerve Waiting with anticipation As physics returns the total beam bending gamma Rays harmony deciding distance to live Across the lands Moving free with hands holding tight to what's inside © 2012 EmpirikAuthor's Note
