A Poem by Empirik

Coming in to another look of placed walls fake and directing your way
Cracking under subfloor as large canvases hang in protected glory
All containing their own light and demanding personal attention
To that which moves though a field of color and space of experience
Hence a rectangle with bright blue and two fierce red stripes inside
As a small window through a mail slot restricting vision
A subtle two tone gray mystic texture as if
Standing behind a post-war concrete slab in the rain
Oppressed and beautiful
Quiet and blessed
Strong and blooming
In one time someone knew the importance of a beating heart
Like the flight of a perfectly thrown dart heading for the bullseye
No hesitation through all the perspiration and vigor
Some white shows around the edges of wide large long brush strokes
Solid color and shape-shifting space
Ocular oscillation occurring
In and out from canvas to behind with brilliance in mind

Tri-tone tearing texture off canvas skin
Flowing ink from my pen sinking in and weaving like a waffle
Straying out on the ledges
Cutting down hedges
Hanging on edges
Three shapes all of different sizes meaning all unknown
You with a top large square sturdily playing with a peach posture like Spring
A small white shape with adjacent unequal sides and four right angles peering in
A love walking outside holding a third shape of equal sides
Purple and royal like family feeding fifteen faces on a golden yellow background
Jaw dropping will and yelling through the hall
Answering the call with an echo beside a mountain cabin

A Panther prowling proudly pondering properly in the dark
Keen eyes sharp as a blade and glowing almonds
Green to be purple and barely standing ten meters away in the middle of night
With a roof of morning
Coming to go and rest.
Color coming carefully through fine lines painted over color
On top of color
On top of color
Pastel bottom
Tertiary in between and secondary scuffing forward
Primary toned to show a way to enter the shapes individually
Entirely touching, overlapping, and reaching for a new sight to come and enjoy

A dance in the light wearing red, white, and gray
Formally flowing freely together in motion twirling
Stepping and flying united and joined
Enveloped in meaning only seen as abstraction can deliver
A silver form leaving the ballroom to be decorated in silk
Women and Men wearing it tossed over shoulders
Smiling and searching for more to hang and escalade a unique waltz
Covering the floor with pink as the crowd watches hazy
As new steps are taken this day

A hazy day covered with blue and gray smoke-like-fog from the natives fire
Chanting piped of prayer desire and scorching the ground
Ill worrier attire
Grandma moon swoon looks down as music notes flow among the river
Heading for the ocean cleansing life like never before
The freshest air to inhale while seeing animals graze in wet fields
Once to be green and supply a force to paint for

In a labyrinth of Earth-tone color highlighted white night
Settling in increased heart-rate, pushing, wondering, not knowing which way to go
How to turn in the direction out
About then an opening calming a-top the messy seams of oil beams reflected
A stroke which could kill you although determined to go find your true inspiration
Looking through the window of the way out with blue eyes behind your daze
Comes a gust of wind pushing your hair forward and settling in your stomach
Stepping out of your very own maze

Sitting down on a warm spot being struck with heat colors
People watching and having to remove your sweater
In search of water
Unfocussed vision verifying repetition in the art to listen
Never again going beneath gigantic frames securing the entirety for eternity

How do I love this painting you actually painted, not with your ink, but with paint! This is amazing, so rich! Your best one for sure! All aspects and little details are dancing on your canvas! It's a movie I want to come back for at least 3 times a week! To drown in the words that are you. Every word is brought with passion and care and with a certain flow only you can bring so brilliantly, painting words and letting collide contradictions in the gaze of your magical paranormal almost eye~WOW I'm in awe every time of the fact beauty can be higher than my top of the mountain was already. Brilliant!
