Sunset Sandstorm

Sunset Sandstorm

A Poem by Empirik

Burning at the tips with fire
Woven tight circular particles spreading the length of the eye

Summer dessert sandstorm halftone
Lone low as the Sun's back drops

A sea of joy in chaos
Puffing deep into the land

A far back fuzzy texture
Secured with a gloved hand

Burning sand
Broken rock

Beautiful like the eye of a cat
Surcharging bolts of power

A double helix tower
A dry magnetic fabric

No rain
Killer breeze

Nobody's at ease
Everybody pleas

Worn by wind
Sworn in sand

A grand
Sunset sandstorm

If you can be just so one with nature, yourself and your words came as they describe in your poem, it was a fusion with myself. And maybe to many other readers... I admire the metaphorical power, and almost the gravity force of your poem, if the words really stand for significance. As I interpreter them (ofcourse) the beauty of poetry is, everyone shall be reading it differently. I am completely blown away again, "literally" to hopefully find some sand in my eyes when I wake up.... ;) After reading, the music fits as sand and rain could be merged in mud, after a rainy storm. Just to give it a little spin :) Keep on penning!
