Dawnesque LightA Poem by Empirik
Standing in the shower atop a dark hall that extends forever
Water filling the ears Heightened intent to understand the visual Hearing a distant Organ playing through broken pipes Standing on tipi toes Leaning forward to peer past presence stance At a glance, she appeared lightened beyond the black Stacked, pitch and unable to clarify the ability She has to defy regular rules lived by Clairvoyant in fuzzy silhouette tendency Hovering in my central lobe Oscillating a strobe standstill beneath my feet Encrypting sensation Never seen before Thought before spoken voice Saving the salvic moistful gesture for after the study Inexplicable question escaped Infinite reflections across mirrored plains Seeing myself in her saying within me "Look inside" Finding it not so far to beach-side Psychology reaching in and pulling out thin lines written in white dyes Blending in Obsidian cries of cognitive reprise Opening eyes to another days surprise Realizing she is inside helping me define the highs, thus lows go away with wind Moving my hand with a grin Satisfied writing As-if I was still there Cleaning off the past © 2012 EmpirikAuthor's Note
