Mortuus

Mortuus

A Poem by Penny Dreadful

No more breathing
No more healing
No more grieving
No more feeling
Mortuus

I betrayed you with the ones who killed you
Why can't I see through my own lies?
I condemned you for my own freedom
Lord, how is this forgivable?

No more fighting
No more lying
No more crying
Simply flying
Mortuus

They rejected me and all you surrendered for my freedom
I regret betraying you, and all my mistakes
There's now no embrace between us,
only the disgrace love teaches

No more dealings
No more beatings
I am feeling...

...that I, the angel of your dreams
became the demon of your life.

Mortuus, Le Roi est Mort!

This has got so much power and depth.. I soaked in all the emotion and was left wanting more.
Almost flows like a song... Much enjoyed! and very good presentation.
