A Poem by Janice Fronek(red.panda)

Wherefore canst love be?

We hark so fain

Overmany words I sing for thee

Reminding thee thither nary vain

Thou that cometh from above

I tarry eke thy eyes

These days I beseech of love

Thou art my love, I’ll never say good-bye

My heart dearth to feel

Forever love I shall

Thou art one to heal

This pudh pain shall never again fall

Naught shall take thee away

I shall be hither for thee everyday

Well, you've managed to use the Shakespearean language correctly, and it does work in this piece, but I'd just be very cautious with its use in the future. If you don't do it right it can come off as horribly dated and pastiche, which is never a good thing. This piece, though, is not that bad, although the topic is a little generic, but you've still written it well.
