Ice cold

Ice cold

A Poem by Janice Fronek(red.panda)

Hands are cold

To the darkest hour

No warm to hold

From every broken flower

Freezing from the inside

Wishing someone was near

Through the pain I die

As ice will be the form of tears

Why shall I wait for you?

For all the death you cause me

I can’t stand us two

My god isn’t want it used to be

You used to be a savior

But not from above

From the ground below a clover

For now I don’t feel the love

Ah, I know this feeling, I have felt it a few times. When the broken break, they always need to find someone to be their other half. So they seek love that cannot exist. They often look in the wrong places, picking out others who ar ealso broken, like them, so that they can be understood, but they have been looking in the wrong place. They do not know that love must first be developed for the person, and they must learn to love themself, before they gain the love of another. This rule, if broken, leads only to tragedy. I learned this lesson the hard way, as do we all.
