Chapter 1 The beginning "A time before night"

Unspoken to what was left. Scared to the darkest hour. The air was cold and I was walking as fast as I can. As I reached my point, I took out my watch and looked at the time. It was 9:11am, I was late maybe just a few minutes late, but it didn't matter. Just as I opened the door, everyone looked at me all weird. So I walked forward, tores my seat. I hear people whispering to the person next to them. I couldn't quiet hear what they were saying, but I knew they were talking about me. Once I sat in my seat, the teacher started to talk.

            It was the second week going to this school, and people still don't talk to me. I guess that's fine because I rather be left alone. People don't really like being friends with someone different I guess.

            My name is Mayra Rose, but some of my friends back home call me Rose. I have blonde hair, blue eyes, I love wearing skinny jeans, and black shirts (sometimes a black sweat shirt)

            The bell rung for school to get out. I get up from my seat, and walked tore’s my locker to gather my things to go home.

            When I get home I hop onto my computer, log onto my face book and Skype. I skull through my chat to see who was on. There was no one that I wanted to talk to at that moment. So I get off and hop onto my bed and I started to write: forever to death, for thy take last breath, throw me down. push me around, thou am week, not what thy seek.

            I stopped and thank for awhile than started to write again: crash thru tears, wash away thy years, burn thru savior alive, warship thy lies.

            I hear my computer go off, so I stopped writing to look at my computer. I see that someone had sent me a message in my inbox. I open it, it said: hey I know you probably don't know me, but I see you around school, and im to scared to even say hi, so I hope you write back.

             I look at who it was, it was T-Rex Alexandria. I didn't know who it was so I wrote back: Well your right I don't know, so what brings you here to talk to me on face book. I chick send and waited for a replay, but there was none. So I went to bed.

            The next day at school, I looked around to see if anyone was watching. There was no one that I knew of.

            Seventh period came. I enter the room, and as I approached my deck. I had found a note. I opened slowly and read it: Sorry I didn't reply to you last night I got scared, so i wrote you this note and maybe you know who I am, sign T-Rex Alexandria  P.S I'm in the same class as you. I folded the note back up and put it in my pocket. I sat down in my seat and waited for class to begin. Once the teacher walked in, he started to talk about gods words. So I zoned out and thought about who this guy might be. 'Is T-Rex his nickname? Is Alexandria he first or last night?'

            I started to think real hard. When I think I'm saying something in my head. I say it out loud "Who are you?" everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at me. The teacher said " I'm Mr. Block, Ms. Rose I thought I told you this the first day you came to this school?" He stares at me like I had brain damaged or something. I opened my mouth and said "I'm sorry Mr. Block; I was talking about umm...Who is god?" "Well than who is god?" he replies, than continues talking about god to the class.

            The bell rings. Everyone gets up , but me. Soon everyone is gone so I thought. I felt something touch my back, so I turn around to see what it was. There was nothing there. Getting up from my seat I felt is again. I turned around once again and had found myself face to face with a cute guy with brown hair and brown eyes. He looked kind of nervous or something. "How may I help you?" I said like I was surprised. He stands there for awhile and said "I got to go." real fast and ran off.

            My face looked puzzled. I didn't know what to do or say. It took a few minutes before I realize that I was standing there looking like a dork.

            Walking out of the classroom there was no one to be found. I looked at the time it was 9:11pm. It was dark, kind of cold but I was use to it. When I got to my locker, I had strange feeling like someone was watching my every move. I was trying to hurry up to get out of there and get home as soon as possible.

            At the moment I looked my locker, I felt something breathing on my neck, Next I hear someone whispering in my ear “Don’t be afraid." It was too late to run. Once I felt the tension in my neck I blacked out.

            I heard filmier voices, but I couldn't quiet finger out which they were. "What have you done, you turn her into one of us. I told you to leave her alone!" one said with anger."Sorry master I couldn't control myself." The other one said with disappointment.

            I open my eyes to see who they were, but I could only see their shadows. I tried moving, but I couldn't I was tied up. I screamed as loud as I could. "She's awake, go over there and shut her up!" one said with anger, "Yes Master" one said nervously. He walks over and tells me to be quit and then unties me. I turn around to see who he was. It was the same guy from before.

            "What is going on and who are you?" I said nervously. "I'm sorry Ms. Rose I didn't mean hurt you..." the boy says before he gets cut off "Alexandria!" his master yells and Alexandria runs tore’s him.

            My neck felt sore. I went to go touch it, but I seemed to be too weak to even left my arm up that high. So I use all my strength to push myself up, but I end up falling. I was getting scared. I didn't even know what was going on and I felt like someone or something sucked the life out of me.

            I screamed once again to get Alexandria or his master his attention. Alexandria saw me on the ground screaming. He rushed over to tell me to be quit. He gave me a drink and said "Drink this you will feel a lot better, and you will get your strength back." As he puts the drink in my mouth. I could feel my body getting stronger. After I got done drinking it, I get up and looked at him "What was that, and why did I felt like someone or something sucked the life out of me?" I said with confusion.

            Alexandria just looks at me and runs off. This time I got up and follow him. "Alexandria wait!" I yelled at him, trying to get cutch up to him. He didn't stop; he just started to run faster.

            I stopped running, looked around me to see where I was. It seem like I was in a cave or something like that. The only light sores that I seen around me were candles. It was so strange."What are you waiting for?" Alexandria asked "Huh?" I said like I was surprised "You scared me. I thought you left?" "No. I wanted you to follow me, but you seem to not know how to use your powers." He said "What do you mean powers?" I said with confusion "You're a vampire my dear Mayra," he just stands there and smiles at me. I looked at him for awhile. Than thought to myself that this is all a dream. I close my eyes and said to me "It's all a dream, wake up, wake up. There's no such thing of a vampire. Wake up!" "Ms. Rose it's real not a dream, trust me it's real. It's hard to believe me I know." he said with a smile on his face once again."Okay." I said, and walked off to find a way out.

            I found a way out. It was dark, a little cold, and the air smelled fresh. I heard something, but I didn't know what it was. Once I heard it again I knew it was my stomach. I was hungry; I haven't ate in awhile, so I find the closest restraint. When I got there I ordered a sandwich and some soup. After I ate, I didn't feel so good. So I rush to the bathroom and threw up. Walking out of the bathroom I felt light headed. Next thing I knew, I blacked out.

            I woke up in some kind of bed. My body felt weak, and I was light headed once again. I looked up to see if anyone was in the room, and I had found that Alexandria was watching over me. "Why are you following me?" I ask him. "To make sure you are safe my dear Mayra." he said with kind words. "Why do you have to make sure that I'm okay? I don't know you and you don't know me." I had said with so much anger. We both pause for a few minutes, than Alexandria walked tore’s a seat next to me. "I'm sorry...I guess I'll leave you alone soon as you get better..." He mumbles as he put his head down.

            As hours pass I close my eyes and try to listen to the sounds around me and hope so to hear my heart beat in my chess. I couldn't hear my heart beat just a sound of my breath. Opening my eyes, I look over at Alexandria to see if his was still a wake. It seem that he was asleep. So I got up, unhooked myself, and walked tore’s the door. As I approached the door I heard someone talking on the other side. "What are we going to do? We can't leave her in that room with Alexandria all the time..." a voice of a girl said with disappointment "I know, but for now we have to make sure that girl in there is safe and if she is not, the head master will be upset." a voice of Alexandria’s master said.

            Putting my hand on the door-knob and turning it, I hear them walking away. Soon as I open the door, I put my head out to see if anyone was still in the hallway. Walking out of the room I slowly close the door be hide me. It was scary; there were no widows, and hardly any light.

           The hallway was very long and it seems to be no end to this hallway. When I finally see a door I slowly approach it. I hear the same voices from before and this time they are talking about Alexandria. I knock on the door; a lovely girl opens the door and said “How may I help Ms. Rose?” “ Um…? Where am I?” She looked puzzled so I speak again “Where am I miss?”
