this feeling is so hard to deal with.

making time freeze.

its so hard to breath...

this feeling is hard to feel.

to tough and rough. it makes my lungs hurt.

i feel the tar sliding down my throat as swollow the pain.

its overwelming...

 

i took on your love and your life.

i took on all the pain and hurt.

i took on feeling Overwhelmed by you.

choking on my broken heart. as you walk away.

 

how could you make my life hard to live.....

but feeling overwhelmed by you has made me feel love and sorrow.

It's wonderful. I love people so much and not just one or two, I am talking about humanity with its joys and woes. So often I reach out to someone, they love the attention, and then when someone better comes along they walk away. I am left with the joy of the time we shared and the hurt that they were not sincere when they said I love you. overwhelmed is hard to explain, but I think this is deffinitely a good description of part of that feeling. I always think of overwhelmed being more of an adjective to another feeling. like overwheled with love or anger or even pain and sorrow as you have described.
Intense imagery in "i feel the tar sliding down my throat as swollow the pain." Love it.

I think you did a good job. To me, being overwhelmed is when there's just so much emotion that it's hard to sort out how you really feel ;)
