“Unwilling Victim”

Through the night strange music went

As the sound of screaming and crying came in

She watched as the blood sang through his veins

Her glaze focused in as it ached her fangs

She gently hovered

Over the sleeping body without a thought

She felt the pulse get faster once he woke

As she sank her teeth into his neck

And she drank of the warm life-blood

That she once longed to have.
