Death stops by to remind us how beautifully fragile life is and with her you have gone away and yet you are still here in the quite moments between my heart beat and the silent space between the tears falling and I can still feel the warmth of your laughter and still hear the comfort of your voice I know not where you have gone or if we will meet again so what luck it was what a privilege it has been to have had you in it my beautiful friend
The authors name is Akira Chinen. She was kind enough to allow me to post her poem on Writers Cafe for all of you to read.

Just beautiful - sometimes life happens and you are only allowed to be part of another’s for a set space and time for learning or teaching or just sharing love of heart - but no matter the distance you will always be united through the threads of eternity and spirit- wonderful words 🌹
Thank you for read requesting me on Akira's amazing poem. This is one of the best poems I've read about death. I don't go for overly dreary painful suffering poems about death. This one is a celebration, both of going thru the necessary sad feelings & embracing the joyful gift of knowing the deceased for the time that one gets to be a part of that life. I didn't realize this until much later in life, but most relationships don't last as long as we wish they could -- so why not celebrate? (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
Usually I find that people who share other's poetry under their name do so simply for selfish promotional reasons. I don't think you did that here.
Regardless of all that bullshit, I'm glad you shared this. It's a worthy collection of words, truly.
You should write something of your own on the topic of what you just shared... it's only half of a good tribute if you don't build something of your own from it.
Death makes you broken inside by stealing someone you love and was hoping they will walk with you for few more decades. Death leaves you stranded on never ending land of sorrow.
Akira Chinen painted the pain of loss perfectly. Well done.

Alternative, shy, loves music.
I typically keep to myself, and am not very expressive.
But when I write, it's like I'm some place else.
I've been gone for a while, and I'm working on getting back.. more..
