I really enjoyed this poem, and I’m looking forward to reading more of your pieces. I'm kind of new on here and it would be an honor if you can review my 4 new recent poems. (The world is ours, Nostalgia, Paradise, and You)
A positive ending to the story. For love to stay. Two people must bent and flex. Become one in life and in love. Thank you dear friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

I'm right here alongside you, feeling it too. Except I'm finally beyond the hopefulness that follows your beginning words of desolation. I banished hopefulness & it helps make the disappointments less poignant. I love the way you make the journey seem brief, but we all know what a long bumpy ride it is between your first sentiments & your last (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
It's simple, in a way that is universally felt by anyone who thought they were in love, at least once in their lives. I mean, s**t, I'm in love rn and I totally understood this. Well done!!
Alternative, shy, loves music.
I typically keep to myself, and am not very expressive.
But when I write, it's like I'm some place else.
I've been gone for a while, and I'm working on getting back.. more..
