Hidden Pain

When I look at you, many emotions flood over me.

Joy.

Pain.

Security.

Sadness.

Fear.

Heartache.

Love.

I’ve felt these things once before, 

But was ripped away from me.

Almost a year of my life, I had

Thought that I had found the one,

And i thought I was going to live

With this mixture of feelings,

This storm, for this one person.

But it wasn’t what they had wanted.

Everything I felt, didn’t matter

Anymore.  And now, when I

Finally moved on, (or so i thought),

I find myself, ripped away again.

for another person, who had

Stolen a piece of my heavily

Guarded heart.

I could relate to this because because I just went through something like this and this poem just speaks to me like i love how at the end you ended it with
