Oh, Just One day!

I wrote this last night. PLease, forgive me if it is not exactly a poem...The only things I am good at writing are poetry and pose poetry.

It aches my heart to

Know that when I

Awaken from my

Sleep...and arise in

The dawn of the day;

That you are not on

The other side looking

At me with so much love

And compassion...our

Naked skin pressed against

One another.

 

No, I can only...simply

Dream of such a thing!

Until we are happily

Wed...I can only, simply

Dream.

 

I weep when I realize

You are not there in

The morning when I

Awaken...I do hope

That the Goddess Nyx

And her Consort Erebus

Bless that dream of mine

To be true one day...

Oh, just one day!
