I'm sorryA Poem by ℰmerald ⚓
Your head held high,
With expectations. It never crossed your mind. No hesitation. I was a disappointment to you, Many others. There's something you all never knew, Only once shall I speak as the old crow withers. Do you remember that day? Back in spring. Our differences met halfway, Your love in my ring. I never knew your promise would last, Softly I say. My apologies have passed. But still for you at night I pray. I took it before myself, Now I agree. Find it in yourself, It should've been me. My life, Your knife. © 2012 ℰmerald ⚓Author's Note
