I'm slipping away from your reach.
I ran away for you,
You left me behind.
Adrean, where are you going?
I can't hear your heart beat anymore.
Your so far away..
Come back babe.
I miss your fingers clutched around my hand.
You were my only protection,
I only feel safe in your arms,
Against your chest.
Your warmth reassures me.
You told me tomorrow would always be better.
But tomorrow never came..
I died in your arms.
For the last time I tell you,
"I love you Babybear"
Then,
I stand behind you.
I see myself in your arms,
So peaceful.
Honey, tears are slowly rolling down your cheeks.
I reach out to catch them but fall in my tracks,
You had gently kissed my forehead for the last time,
For the last time,
For your first time,
You tell me,
"I love you Emma"
But it was too late.
I'm sorry, I can't come back,
I just wait for your last day.
I watch you grow old each day.
Then,
Then I watch something I never wished.
You tightly squeezed a picture of me against your heart,
Raised your pistol,
You kissed the photo and said,
"I told you I would die for you Babygirl"
I cried and tried to stop you,
But this time,
It was I who was too late.
You pulled the trigger.
You appeared beside me,
You held out one hand,
Wiped my steamy tears away with the other,
And we walked into the light.
Together,
Forever.
