Heart's TyrannyA Poem by King Wolfe (Dylan A. King).
And I do see love all around me,
But am shattered by the absence of my own, I try and try again, But to no avail, For Heart's unsatisfied desire, Has tyrannical control over my every action, And though I should learn, Though I should hold, and press no more. Hold I can not, And only drive myself through that all too familiar pain And try as I may, All is done in vain.
