All else is Order

All else is Order

A Poem by Girl on the Moon
"

Bring order into chaos and vice versa

"

I like to dress up in waistcoats

Like the rabbits do in storybooks

And throw dinner parties for dead presidents

Lincoln, Washington, and John Adams

Waste time in silver petticoats-

This is how sometimes a visionary looks

As do other heretic residents

When they take whimsy as their madam

No I’m not a madman

I just bore easily of grey

I see it as a challenge

I think it must be slain

I dance the monochrome away

And with it, all the pain

This is how my time is spent

Do I need to repent

For my flights of fancy, in order

To restore law and order

Into your chaotic disorder

Of blacks, greys and whites?

Or can I entertain your joys

Smoothing edges over

Your subtle days and nights?

A tea party of sorts, to drown out the mundane...I like it.
