~Beauty in Destruction~

~Beauty in Destruction~

A Poem by Emilie Renee Barnum

Questions always asked,

answers never earned.

Dreams never ending,

hearts continually burned.

Growing up equals heartbreak,

hands of a lover viciously turned cold.

Suicidal tendencies,

but have you a hand so bold?

We're much too young,

to be so devastated.

We're much too young,

to have a life we've hated.

Beauty in destruction,

come, take my hand and see.

This life's not been wasted,

darkness formed into beautiful memories.

Wonderful work.
I love your great message that you have expressed here:
"Beauty in destruction,
come, take my hand and see.
