put your records on, forget it, you have nothing to recall.
all the heartbreaks, all the pain, you let it into you once, but not again.

that's why I'm here, to bring you good memories, memories good enough to bring you back that cheer.

i watched you a long time ago, I watched you take flight on the wings of an angel.
i saw your beautiful face in the clouds, I saw you, I saw it all in my dream.

fate brings peace, fate brings truth.
this is the truth, you and I together, forever, no asunder.

take the time to heal, no pressure, no sweat,
just know that I'll be here for you through this time,
that's all I'm saying in that record, so put your records on.

Music can do an abundance of healing for the human mind in times of turmoil. While reading your poem, I imagined myself humming to a CD, laying in bed on a grey day, and pondering about someone that I miss and wish I could relive memories with.
