FEELINGS

She felt as though she was drowning in a sea of her own thoughts, blackness invaded her vision as she shut her eyes tightly and sunk into her pillows.

Thoughts swirled in her head consuming her, teasing her till she couldn’t take anymore. Her reflection glared back at her from the foot of her bed, redden cheeks stained with tears, messy hair and pouted lip gave her an appearance of a child.

She was like this for hours, when finally her tears gave way to a quiet numbness, that lulled her into  a broken sleep filled with nightmares and broken hearts.

Gee
Good morning, just a quick heads up, your " ignore grammar" will deter folk from revisiting, as when all is said and done, to them anyway, this is a place to post your work, be reviewed, critiqued, so as to improve :)
