Just one poppy

Just one poppy

A Poem by TryingToSee
"

A little poem I wrote for remembrance day.

"

The sky is falling.

A single star reflected

In a scarlet ocean.

But then who can say,

That in our own foolish way;

Built up though the scaffolding

Stronger than this barren tree

Though it isn't pure white,

Stained by our ruthless flight,

It emits its own fearful light

For it's existence we shall fight.

In deed for it's short, fragile life.

This, a pain filled flower.

I love making up my own stories but I am really bad at writing them out. Spelling, grammar, and sentence structure is all very difficult for me. more..
