Just one poppyA Poem by TryingToSeeA little poem I wrote for remembrance day.The sky is falling. A single star reflected In a scarlet ocean. But then who can say, That in our own foolish way; Built up though the scaffolding Stronger than this barren tree Though it isn't pure white, Stained by our ruthless flight, It emits its own fearful light For it's existence we shall fight. In deed for it's short, fragile life. This, a pain filled flower.
