Salt Water

Salt Water

Salt Water

I'm still breathing, but it's taking everything I have.

I've been swimming in salt water to keep myself afloat.

The back of my mind proved right again.

Tonight, I learned a truth that burns...

An eye into the past!

Maybe I was already there?!

And I died before I was even born!

But I was always meant to find you!

And it seems you've found me too!

Your biggest mistake was to fall too soon!

CHORUS:

There's nothing left to fear,

But my deepest fears have been realised again.

My learned friend, I’d like to think that you long for the times in which we were,

And we could be the way the world intended,

If you wouldn’t deny yourself.

Everyday, you make me welcome.

In weeks I remember well,

My voice could stand alone!

You've made me stronger in unimaginable ways!

I know it's not my place to tell you,

But in the end, who will?!

Keep your mind clear and someday you might feel me here!

CHORUS

And I’m far too afraid to ask,

I just hope everything will be okay.

And it’s not my shame to bear,

You know I’ll only ever wait.

CHORUS X2

I'm still breathing, but it's taking everything I have.

I've been swimming in salt water, and I'm going under...
