Air Lock

Air Lock

Air Lock

Air lock, cuts into my veins!

Bleeds me dry for centuries to come!

Arson, catches in my lungs!

Smothering my need to feel at all!

Taste their fingers down my throat!

They push me to the edge and let me go!

I should have run when I still had the chance,

And now I don't know them at all!

Trying to hold on but I know that I've been

Flying too close to the sun!

CHORUS:

Have we finally lost our way home?

Will they recognise us?

Will they let us in?

Have we lost sight of where we belong?

Let them live their lives,

Let them forget where we have been.

Eyes down, pretending I don’t see!

Whispers of the secrets that they keep!

Hold back, I can’t seem to breathe!

Terrified of what could come to be!

Undermine my loyalty!

The world they're living in is killing me!

It’s gonna take far too much to release me!

And they must be willing so hard!

The sad thing is I will anticipate them,

Only to be torn apart!

CHORUS

That's quite enough cuts for an evening!

That's just enough tears!

A whole new year awaits us!

So let's begin again!

CHORUS X2
