All you need is love,

A few kind words to guide you through.

Through the days, full of hate and despair.

Hate of yourself, despair just because.

The waves of emotions are hard to handle.

Overpowering and uncontrollable.

Sweet little birds outside the window,

Why don’t you ever hate?

Why don’t you ever despair?

We all seem to have forgotten,

Forgotten what its liked to be loved,

Darkness on earth is conquered by light,

The darkness we feel is conquered by love.

So go tell someone you love them,

Whisper it in their ear,

Hug them really tight,

And don’t let them fear.

For some the battle was lost,

Others the battle is dying,

But for the one you love, their battle is won.
