First SightA Poem by Sugar and SpiceLook deeper, look closer. Try to read between the lines, everything is so much more then what first meets the eyeThere is always more than what meets the eye. If you look a
little closer you will see. A missing piece of the puzzle, A door with no key. Life shows us pictures, some are incomplete, But if you look that much closer, The picture is complete. The funny thing is, it’s our feet that do the wandering, But with so much out there to see, shouldn’t our eyes be
roaming? In a society such as ours, eyes are cast down, People do not wish to see, the sorrow that goes around. Life is full of chances, Just lift your eyes and see. A beautiful sunset, a magical rainbow, or simply someone
smiling sweet. You cannot judge a book by its cover, Or someone by their name. Everyone has a story, everyone has a key. So lift your eyes and look around, And remember to look back twice, Often we miss, that which must be seen, There is always more then what we first see. © 2012 Sugar and SpiceAuthor's Note
