Find someone who lets you sing in the car.

Better yet, they join you.

Even if you're tone deaf and sometimes sing the wrong words.

Because they know you love to sing.

Find someone who sleeps wrapped around you.

Even if they wake up sweating in the summer.

Even if you're a box of heat that never stops.

Because they could never dream of sleeping another way.

Find someone who will kiss you in the morning.

Even if you have morning breath.

Even if the kiss is chaste, because who likes morning breath?

Because they know you love to be kissed awake.

Find someone who will love you with the lights on.

Even if they understand when you want to be loved in the dark.

Even if someone with a model perfect body exists, they love you lights-on.

Because they love every one of your flaws that make you you.

Find someone who loves you.

Loves all of you.

Even if it makes things sort of hard.

Because they love every mess you make and every mess you are.
