Sometimes I WonderA Poem by EmiI was once watching the movie Her, and the monologue sparked a lovey poem.
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if you were an ocean,
and then I realize it wouldn't matter, because your touch would be water washing over me, and I would drown in it. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if you were a raging fire, and then I realize it wouldn't matter, because your gaze would be flames sparking across me, and I would burn up in the intensity. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if you were the sun, and then I realize it wouldn't matter, because your beauty would be petals brushing over me, and I would never stop running my hands over you. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if you were the sky, and then I realize it wouldn't matter, because you would be every star in the galaxy shining at me, and I would lay beneath you and never get up again. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if you were everything, and then I realize it wouldn't matter, because you're already everything to me, and I wouldn't change it for the world.
