What mobile was going to be for Blizzard in the future

Furthermore, Diablo: Immortal is a game that has been in development for some time up to now and we're thrilled with the progress it's making. We're anxious to see players experience it as soon as it's available.

First of all, I think that one thing that did not get communicated, and I'm sure I've not said enough about it, is that we're an PC developer who is also looking into opportunities for other operating systems.

It's important to make clear that you're a PC-first kind of developer, business and publisher. Are you aware of the resistance from your fans? when they're like "Yeah it's mobile and you're not who you are."

In retrospect, we took a candid look at ourselvesafter BlizzCon and to examine the reactions of the fans. It's a matter of trying to understand really deeply, this reaction.

We didn't succeed in convincing our loyal fans that we're not leaving cheap diablo 2 resurrected items for mobile or console. That message wasn't communicated in a way that I believe, if we could return, we'd be able to do.
