I have not really bothered with WoTLK Classic but if they declare that a BC server is opening and it is possible to port your WOW WoTLK Classic personality over(also remaining on the WOW WoTLK Classic server just a progression on another server) I'd likely make a character. Knowing I could relive BC and keep into Wrath again could be amazing. Your error picked a PvP server for play. That guy was the exception back in 2005. They were relatively rare, although it was funny because most everyone knew a man like this.

Now, those men are legion. Legions upon legions of neckbeards who want nothing more than to camp you. Fresh servers would be a massive f**k you to all of the people still playing now though. I really don't have a issue with Blizzard creating some servers when there is enough demand for them, but maybe not updating for all of my characters would be a massive no-no or offering transfers. And Naxx and R14 equipment basically makes a whole bunch of gear from T4 meaningless, so what, that stuff is easy anyhow.

I would have thought of the raids would be accessible from the afternoon the server started. Are they just gating content to replicate the way that it was used to roll out? Yes, the patches in different stages roll out to give themselves to folks and blizz more time. WOW WoTLK Classic will be"done" 4 weeks back if WOW WoTLK Classic launched with Naxxramas open already. Blizz utilizes WOW WoTLK Classic to give folks something to do while the retail expansion rolls out on. Same thing gonna happen with BC a few months after Shadowlands release.

I don't think WOW WoTLK Classic and retail have overlap in playerbase at all. I'm sure they did WOW WoTLK Classic launch, but now all the retail WOW players have gotten bored and left by now. I'd say it's pretty much just another Runescape scenario - two individual matches each with their own independent playerbases.
