Firefly

Firefly

A Poem by Emily Jarvis

Die for their cause they say -

their rich insolence consumes them

The blaze of black blasts like

a thousand fireflies flying through the smog.

A long lost lust is felt she said -

her flurrying heart taking over

The red of blood like

a beating bomb ready to explode.

A feeling of secrurity he said -

her perfect figure a part of him

The touch of her skin like that of

a rick silk consumes him

As he becomes a firefly.
