Possession

Possession

A Poem by Emily Jarvis

I have felt your struggle

I have kissed these lips

But I want more.

Your sweet torment

You leave this with me

But I take myself away.

Love stranded

- apart -

Growing ever closer

Getting stronger

After all I fly away

Now you want more.

This is good. I think this was really strong with the structure you chose.

Even though it was short, I enjoyed every word. It was weird how u changed your stanza structure in the end, even though it didnt really bother me much. Either way it was entertaining because this piece is something i can relate to. Keep writing.

When someone knows they have you they dont have to worry about trying to get you still so they treat you like s**t. And we take it because we simply just love too much.

Funny how when a person knows they have you, they taunt you. When the time comes that you move away, they desire you. It's a love/hate world. I enjoyed your poem.
