Live Eyes

Live Eyes

A Poem by Emily Jarvis

(This poem is a sonnet)

I look into his eyes and smile

Beautiful thoughts of our lifestyle

His palpable looks and valiant ways

Cry sweet beauty at a gaze

Full of life my sweetheart

Don’t be hell bent to tear us apart

He is the only one, forever alluring

You look into my eyes and smile

Dreams swirling round for a while

Lovers lust and secret security

Innkeeper for innocence and purity

I will not fail for we cannot lose

Lord knows I cannot chose

But darling when I’m with you

Our whole world comes alive.

This is a great piece and conveys to a good point how people feel when they actually love someone.

but too often then not love is just lust in a masque.
