Hollow

Hollow

A Poem by Emily Jarvis

Crying out through the dust

Trapped in the centre of the world –

that I did not wish for, not for this

Strange new beings loom up –

as silhouettes faces fascinated, full of sorrow

Anger poses threat to my thoughts

My being boils up, discarded by all but –

somehow ended up on his own

Rotten romances are all just thoughts –

but this hollow world keeps me from sanity tonight.
