That six letter word Cancer

Cancer is just a six letter word but

It runs peoples lives and puts them in pain

It causes their families to doubt if they are going to see them everyday

As many of you know now from that assembly we had

I stood up proud and sad for the condition my mother has

As my father and mother left the night before I started to ball for I didnt even know

I didnt know if I would see her again if the surgery was going to work

If that disease had spread

But my mom kissed my forehead and said it will be OK

I love you mom and i know you may be fine now

But that six letter word is and always will be in the back of my mind
