Chapter 5- Listen Up

Chapter 5- Listen Up

A Chapter by EmilySix

Allisyn's POV:

“So, how long are you planning to stay?” I asked Emilia. “Probably a week or so.” she said. “Well, since you don't have to go back to work for like a month, stay until then. You know you are always going to be welcome here.” I said smiling. Emilia smiled. “I'll be right back.” she said. “Excuse me.” she said as she looked at Jordan to let her out. “Oh, sorry.” Jordan said as he stood up and let her out. Emilia walked over to the bathroom and I looked at Seth.

“You had to be a d****e!?” I said as I glared at him. “You had to be friends with a damn human?” Seth asked as he glared back at me. “She isn't like us, Allisyn.” he said. “I know she isn't! She is my best friend weather you like it or not.” I said. “She smells so damn bad!” Seth added. “Well, I am sorry that she is a human and that she has her own damn sent. You will get over it.” I snapped.

I looked at everyone else. “Does anyone of y'all have a problem with Emilia? If you do, speak now.” I said. No body said anything. “I like her.” Jordan said as he took a sip of his drink. “Oh, we know you do, Jordan.” Seth said. “You like any hot girl.” “I didn't mean like that.” Jordan said. “I like her personality.” “Same.” Teddy and Knox said. “That settles it then.” Jayne said.

I nodded and looked at Seth. He just glared. “She is going to find out, Allisyn.” he said. “I highly doubt that.” I said. “Either she is going to figure it out from us, or them.” he said. “They are not going to be able to get to her.” I said. “We are going to have her secured, twenty-four seven.” I said. “She is not to go anywhere by herself. She is going to have to have at least one of us with her at all times.” I said. “God, you are sounding like the leader of the pack now.” Seth said as he folded his arms.

“You will have to get the hell over it. I hope you remember who is next in line for the position as leader.” I said as my anger intensified. “Well, I hope you know, Bryan still has a while.” Seth said. I just glared at him. “I'm not watching her.” he said. “You are if Allisyn says you are.” Jayne added. “All of you knew what would happen if Emilia came here. If anything happens to her, even is she gets out of our sight for a split second, Bryan will be up our asses, instantly.” Jayne said as she looked around the table.

“Like I said, I'm not watching her.” Seth said as he looked at me. “Fine then. Either I, Jayne, Knox, Teddy, or Jordan will watch her.” I said. “Oh, we know Jordan is going to watch her.” he said. “He is into babes.” Jordan just growled at Seth.

“Like I said, she doesn't leave our sight. If she goes outside in the middle of the night, we go with her.” I said. “My place, our place, is the safest for her. We don't need them to find out she is here.” I said as I looked around the table. “Agree?” I asked. “Agreed.” everyone said in unison. I looked at Seth. “Whatever.” he said.

“You know, Seth, you need to care about other people sometimes.” Jayne said. “When she is one like us, I might.” he said. “You are really becoming a pain in my a*s.” I said as I looked at Seth. “You're the one who is dating me.” he said. “I'm done talking to you right now. I can't believe how much of an a*s you are being to Emilia. To all of us, in fact.” I said.

“See, you always do that! You aways criticize people before you even know them.” I said. “I know her enough.” he said. “No, no, no!” Jayne snapped. “You don't know her. You don't know what kind of life she has.” Jayne said as she looked at Seth. “I can tell by how she acts and what she wears.” “Oh, big whoop!” Jayne snarled. “Tell me what you know.” she said.

“She is a prep, she works for a prep, she is into all that fancy expensive crap, and she is a stuck up snob.” Seth said. After he said that Jayne and I looked at each other and then at Seth. We wanted to strangle him. “Wrong.” Jayne said. “First off, Emilia is not a stuck up snob. She only has that job so she can support herself through college, when she finds one.” I said. “Also,” Jayne began to say. “Emilia is not into all that expensive crap. And, Allisyn is right. Emilia is not a snob. She is actually laid back. Plus, you don't know her life.” Jayne said.

“Does she come from a bad background?” Jordan asked politely. “No, it isn't a bad background.” Jayne said. “She lost her parents when she was sixteen. They died in a car accident. Some drunk guy went head on into her parents' car.” I said as I looked at Jordan. “Thank god she had a aunt who lived and is from Montreal.” I said as I took a sip of my drink.

“Oh.” Jordan said as he looked down. “Sorry.” Seth said as he looked at me. I looked at him and then he looked the other way. That was his way of being sympathetic. It isn't the kind to show emotion that much. I mean, he does once in a while, but not very often. “It's okay.” I said.
