Chapter 4- Arrival

Emilia's POV:

I finished packing all of my clothes about a hour later. I zipped up my suitcases and put them in the hallway. I walked back into the living room and called Allisyn to tell her I was coming, tonight. She didn't answer the phone, so I left her a voice message.

After, I rang for Shawn to come and help me with my things. About a few minutes later, he came and helped me. We got everything to my car and we put it in the trunk. “Thank you.” I said as I closed the trunk door. “You're welcome, Emilia.” Shawn said as he opened the driver's side door for me.

I got in and smiled at him. “Drive safely. Okay?” he asked. “I will, Shawn.” I said laughing as I put my seat belt on. I looked at him after I got my seat belt on. He had blue eyes with shaggy light brown hair. I smiled at him and he smiled back and closed my door. I started my car and began to back out the parking lot. As I did, I waved bye to Shawn and began to drive away.

I have been driving now for about three hours. Only a few more minutes to go hopefully. I put my blinker on and turned of the Albany exit. As I did, my phone began to rang. I continued to drive and answered my phone.

“Hello?” I asked. “Hey, where you at?” Allisyn asked. “I just got into Albany.” I said. “Alright. Um, do you remember where Jake's Oyster House is?” she asked me. “Yeah, I think so. Isn't on something avenue?” I asked. “No, it's on 42 State Street.” Allisyn said. “Oh yeah, that's right.” I said laughing. “Go ahead and meet me there. I'll buy you lunch.” she said. “Alright, I'll be there in a bout a few minutes.” I said.

I hung up the phone and turned right onto 42 State Street. I drove about another five minutes before I got to the restaurant. I pulled into the parking lot and shut the car off. I grabbed my purse and threw my phone into my bag. I got out the car, closed the door and began to walk into the restaurant.

I opened the door and walked in. I looked around the place to see if I could find Allisyn. All I saw was that they had remodeled the place. I looked down at my bag and began to dig for my phone to call her.

While I was digging for my phone, I could feel someone standing next to me. “Emilia, is that you?” I heard. I looked up and there Allisyn was. “Allisyn?” I asked as I looked at her. She slowly nodded. My mouth dropped open. She threw her arms around me and gave me a tight hug.

“It has been forever!” she said. “I know. I'm so glad to see you again!” I said as I looked at her. “You cut all your hair off?” I asked as I looked at her medium length brown hair. She had chunky blonde hightails through it. “Yeah, about a year ago. And you, you grew your hair out.” she said. “Yeah, something different.” I said as I smiled.

“I want to introduce you to some people.” Allisyn sad as she drug me over to the round booth she was sitting at. “Emilia, this is Seth, Teddy, Knox, and Jordan.” Aliisyn sad as she pointed each of them out. Seth had bleach blonde hair with brown eyes. Teddy had dark brown hair with light brown throughout it with brown eyes. Knox had shaggy dark brown hair with green eyes. Jordan had black hair with a layer of blonde under it and blue eyes. “Hello.” I said as I waved.

They all looked at me and smiled. Well, two of them. Seth just stared at me and then looked at Allisyn. Jordan, well he was sitting on the end of the booth and he was holding a cheeseburger. And well, he dropped it and his mouth was wide opened, just looking at me. I couldn't help but to laugh.

“You who, Jordan!” Allisyn said as she waved her hand in Jordan's face. He jumped up and looked at Allisyn. “I'm okay.” he said as he looked at her. “You sure?” Teddy asked. “Yeah, just fine.” he said as he nodded, looked at me and then back to them. “I don't think you are. You dropped a cheeseburger. A cheeseburger! That is your favorite food! You would never drop a cheeseburger!” Knox said as he looked at Jordan. Jordan just shrugged his shoulders.

“Well, that's Jordan for you.” Allisyn said laughing. “Emilia!” I heard someone say. I turned around and saw Jayne throw her arms around me. “You are finally here!” she said. “I know!” I said as I hugged her back. “Guys! I told you to what until Emilia got here to order!” Allisyn said. I let go of Jayne and looked at Allisyn. “Well, we have to reorder now. Jordan had to drop his damn burger.” Seth said as he looked at me and made a face, then looked at Allisyn.

“Come on, sit down.” Jayne said as she motioned for me to sit. As she sat down. Jordan jumped out from the booth looked at me. “Ladies first.” he said as he smiled and pointed to the booth. “Thank you.” I said as I scooted into the booth. Jordan got in after me and looked at Seth who was glaring at him.

“You are going to have to excuse Seth. He isn't the friendliest at the table.” Allisyn said as she scooted in and sat next to Seth and then Jayne sat next to Knox. “Yeah, Allisyn's right. He isn't.” Jayne said as she looked at me. “Trust me, I'm use to being around a******s.” I said as I smiled at Jayne and Allisyn, then I looked over at Seth and made a face. “Oh, what now son?” Jayne said laughing. “She told you.” Allisyn said laughing. “Yeah, laugh it up.” Seth said as he looked at them.

We sat, ate, and talked for a few hours. Everyone was nice, except for Seth. He was just being a d****e. Oh well, I am not going to let him ruin my time with Allisyn and Jayne. “So, Allisyn told us you work in Quebec.” Jordan said. “Yeah, I work as a intern for a fashion designer.” I said as I sipped my water. “Prep.” I heard Seth mumble under is breath. “Yeah, I know I'm not. Just because I work for a fashion designer, doesn't mean I am a prep.” I said. He just looked at me. “Plus, I only have that job so I can pay my way threw college. That is when I find one.” I said. He didn't say anything after that.
