Chapter 18 *End*

It was Saturday. Moving day. I was at Mecklenburg Gardens with Chance and Andy eating lunch for the last time with them. Lily was hanging with Eli. The scene inside the restaurant was pretty. I have never been here. Andy said that he was paying for it. Can I pay at least once?

            I saw a flash of light come from the other side of the booth we were sitting as I I shoved a fry in my mouth. I looked over at Chance who was laughing. “No you just didn't.” I said as I ate my fry. “You look like a pig in this picture, Ash.” Chance said. “Love you too, Chance.” I said as I flipped him off. Andy, sitting next to me, was laughing. “If you are gonna take a picture of me, take it right.” I said as I threw a fry at Chance.

            The bill came and Andy reached for it. I slapped his hand and snatched the bill from the table. “I am paying for it since I am leaving in a few hours.” I said as I grabbed my wallet. “No, you're not!” Andy said as he took my wallet out of my hand. “Can I pay for it? I feel bad when you pay. And lately, you have been paying for everything. It feels like your my pimp or something!” I said as I grabbed my wallet out of his hand. He just laughed. “Fine. You can pay if you want.” “Good.”

            I got out of the booth and went up to go pay for the food. It wasn't that bad. I gave the money to the girl behind the register and waited for her to gave me my change. “Here is your change. Have a nice day.” she said as she gave me the change. “Thank you.” I said as I walked out the door with the guys.

            Just as we were about to walk back to my yard, I saw Lily and Eli hugging and kissing. I stopped Andy and Chance and told them to wait. “Isn't she a little young to be kissing?” Chance asked me. “Leave her alone. She really likes him.” I said as I hit Chance's arm. “What! It was just a question.” “A stupid one!” I said.

            It was about ten minutes later when Lily walked up to me. “You okay lily?” I asked. “No!” she said as she hugged me. “I'm going to miss him!” Lily said as she cried in my chest. “I know you are, Lil.” I said as I hugged and rubbed her back. I have never seen my sister cry before. This was kind of new to me. “I'll be in the car, Ash.” Lily said as she let me go and wiped her face.” “Alright.”

            Lily walked to the car as I looked at Andy. “I'll give you two a moment.” Chance said as he walked off somewhere. 'So, I guess this is goodbye, huh?” Andy said. “I wish it wasn't, though.” I said as I looked up at him. “Same here.” Andy said. “Come on, Ash. We have to go.” My mom said as she walked over to get into the car with Hector. “Okay.” I said.

            “Well, give me a hug bye.” I said as I hugged Andy. “You better keep in touch with me, Andrew Dennis Biersack.” I said. “I promise I will, Ashtyn Dae' Borkowski.” Andy said as he let me go and smiled at me.

I began to walk toward the car, but then Andy grabbed my arm. “Wait.” he said. I turned around and he looked into my eyes. He cupped my face with his left and and wrapped his right arm around my waist and he pulled me into a kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

            His lips were soft to the touch. When he kissed me, nothing else mattered. I am surprised we actually were able to kiss without any interruptions this time. It was like it was only me and him. It was perfect.

            We pulled away and looked into each others eyes. “I have been trying to get that through for the past two weeks.” Andy said as he smiled and let me go. I pulled him into another hug. “I'm going to miss you.” I said as I felt a tear fall out of my eyes. “One day we will see each other again, I promise.” Andy said as he rubbed my back.

            I let go of him and walked to the car. I opened the door and got in. I closed the door and we drove off. I turned around and looked out the back window. I waved bye to Andy as I cried. He waved back at me as I rode away in the distance.
