Chapter 12

          It has been a week since I last seen and talked to Chance or Andy. It hurt me so bad knowing what I did to Andy. Don't I see him at school? Not anymore. The next day after I told him all that, was when I dropped from that school. Today I have to go return my books, so I might see him then.

          I walked down the stairs with my back pack. Well, that is barely walk. I was wearing my new white skinny jeans. They were still a little stiff. I was wearing a grey and white peace shirt and my old black converse. My hair was in a half ponytail. And, it was curly. My hair was naturally curly. When I say curly, I mean ringlets that went all the way down my back.

           I walked into the living room and saw Lily practicing her dances. But, she had a friend over. He had shaggy brown hair with blue eyes. He was about the same height as Lily. He was a pretty good dancer.

           “Lily, who's your friend?” I asked as I walked up to her. “Oh, this is Eli. Eli, this is my sister, Ashtyn.” “Hello, it's nice to meet you, Eli.” I said smiling to him. “You too, Ashtyn.” he said as he smiled back. He had a good smile.

           “You guys practicing?” I asked. They nodded their heads yeah. They were to busy into their dancing. “Well, Lily, I have to go take my books back to the school. It wont take me long. I'll be back in about thirty minutes.” I said as I grabbed my jacket and put it on. “Alright. See you when you get back.” Lilly said as she turned her stereo louder. She was playing “Crank Dat” by that stupid Soulja dude.

           I walked out the door and onto the side walk. It wasn't going to take me long to return the books. That is, if I don't run into anybody in particular. Which, I doubt I will. If I do, he probably wont even look at me after that stupid stunt I pulled. I don't blame him. I would do the same thing.

           I walked onto the campus and into the office. I closed the door behind me and walked up to the counter. “Hey, Ashtyn.” The assistant said. “Are you here to return your books?” She said as she filed some paperwork. “Yes, I am.” “Alright, here is a visitor's pass.” she said as she handed me the visitors pass. I pealed it off the paper and stuck it on my pants leg. “Thank you.” I said as I waved bye to her and walked down the hall.

           I walked through to all my classes and handed them my books. Luckily, when I hit the biology classroom, Andy wasn't in there. Though, that a*s of a teacher was. I was so glad to get away from him. He just glared at me the whole time I gave him the book. Weirdo.

           I started to walk to the cafeteria. I went to go tell my friends bye for the last time. I know they were going to miss me. Right when I got to exit to get to the cafeteria, I stopped dead in my tracks. On the other side of the door was Chance and Andy. I need to face him. Tell him I'm sorry for last week. I'm not going to chicken out. I am going to be strong this time.
