Chapter 5

A Chapter by EmilySix

I was just about to turn the car back on when my phone started to ring. I grabbed my purse and reached in and grabbed my phone. I flipped it open and answered. “Hello?” I asked. “Hey, what are you doing?” It was Andy. “I just got done dropping Lily off at her dance class. You?” I asked as I started the car and looked behind me. I carefully pulled the car onto the road and drove. “Nothing really. Hey, can you meet me at Starbucks?” Andy asked. “Yeah, sure. I'm on my way.” I said. “Ok, see you there.” He said before he hung up.

I pulled up into the Starbucks parking lot and grabbed my purse. I shut the car off and threw my keys and phone into the bag and got out the car. I shut the door and set the alarm. I through my jacket over my arm and walked into Starbucks and sat down at one of the tables and waited for Andy.

A few minutes later, Andy drove up in his Cadillac Eldorado. He got out of the car and started to walk through the doors. I look up at him as he was walking toward the table. Our eyes instantly connected. It was like that every time we were in the same room. We could be walking past each other in the hallway at school, and some how our eyes would connect. I guess it was fate.

“Hey there.” Andy said as I came and stood by me. “Hey back.” I said as I jumped down from the chair and gave him a hug. “Why didn't you call me back last night?” Andy said as he sat across from me at the table. “Long story.” I said as I jumped back up on the bar stool. “I have time.” Andy said as I looked into his blue eyes.

He was wearing a plain white t-shirt with blue jeans and his old nikes. He was wearing the same type of jacket I was. He also had in his snake bite piercings and the bat necklace I got him for his birthday.

“Well, if you really want to know. I got into a fight with my mom.” I said as I put my phone on the table. “About you moving?” Andy asked. “Yeah.” I said as I nodded my head. “I have to go. She is making me.” I said looking at Andy. Andy just nodded his head. “How about we no talk about it until the time comes? How about we just spend the next three weeks like you are not going to move?” Nady asked as he smiled. I smiled and nodded. “Deal.”

“Do you want anything? Frappachino?” Andy asked as he got up and walked over to me. “Yeah. That sounds good. Here.” I said as I pulled out my wallet. “Oh, no.” Andy said as he took my wallet away from me and put it back into my purse. “Andrew!” I said looking up at him. “I'm buying it.” he said as he smiled and walked over to the counter to order. He never lets me pay for anything.

Andy walked back over to the table and handed me the frappichino. “How come you never let me pay for anything?” I asked him as I took the coffee. He just shrugged his shoulders and sat down. “Don't know.” He said as he smirked and drank some of his coffee. “No, you know. You just don't want to tell me.” I said as I sat my coffee down and smiled. “You're right. I do know.” Andy said smiling at me.

We sat there for what felt like ever, but it was only two hours. Andy was telling me how he wrote a song that was dedicated to me. It was called “The Mortician's Daughter.” “I know how you said that the only thing you knew about your dad was that is was a mortician, so I wrote it for you.” Andy said as he handed me the Cd. “I took the Cd and looked at it. “Thanks.” I said as I smiled and slip the Cd into me bag.

I cant believe my mother was making me leave this amazing guy. I also can't believe that Andy wrote a song for me. I can't believe it took me this long to finally get my feelings for him in order. I cannot imagine my life without him in it. I know I am only fifteen, but I don't care. I think I love him.
