Can You Hear Me?

"Hello? Can anyone hear me?" I shout. 

I look around, all I see is nothing.

Where I was.

All I saw was an empty black void.

I began to walk around.

"Is someone there? Can you hear me?"

There's still nothing.

There's no help.

"Where is everybody?" I kept yelling.

Getting nothing out of that, I sit down.

As I sit down something opens underneath me.

I'm falling, no one to help me.

I fall, yelling for help.

I land, there seems to be a light.

I keep walking towards it.

The light, progressively getting bigger, and bigger.

I put my hand through the light, it's an opening.

My curiosity got the best of me, so I walked in.

There were people here.

On the other side of a gate that is.

"Hello can you hear me?" 

I asked, going up to the gate.

No one batted an eye at me.

This must be a nightmare.

"Come on, wake up." I started to pinch myself.

Why won't I wake up?

No one here can hear me.

I'm not even sure they can see me. 

I start to look around and no one's there.

I sat down again, this time crying.

No one to help.

No one to hear me screams for help.
