Sleep

I lay,

In my world of soft.

I'm able to keep thoughts at bay.

Here, in this world there's not a lot.

It's very calm here.

You can doze,

No one ever sheds a tear.

It feels like time has froze.

I could stay forever.

I wish I could.

But I never stay forever.

Sometimes I feel as if I should.

Ring, ring!

That's my time.

It's a sad thing.

I'll eventually be fine.

My eyelids start to separate.

I have to leave my world.

It's a sad fate.
