Soaring Free

#Bye reality, melting away in melodies of music of my mind, as empty as a broken heart

Love, lost, my being empty like a thirst quenching glass, slippery slope, slide is steep

Feeling different, polar opposite of normal, slick slide of inner thoughts, losing control

Well rounded, I may be, yet this doesn’t stop me, self-loathing, wishing I wasn’t always me

I’m intelligent, yes I am, I know I am, yet repeatedly tell myself I’m not, not smart one bit

An individual lost in my whole being, lost in soul, soul lost, yet, I’m alive, vibrant inside

Outside, it’s a default, one, two three, put on that smile, one, two three, no frowning

Alive, but dead, demons chanting spells, what lies ahead, only dread, just pure dread

Hopeless, confused, lost, where’s the good news, where, show me where it hides now

Hopeless, can I turn that around into hope, minus the less, is there a sign of hope

Like a butterfly, I can fly, succeed, be the best me in history

Hope for a better day, a better week, month, life

I am human, I just got to remember to breathe

Just breathe, one, two, three, breathe

I’ll be okay, if it’s you and me

You and me, we’ll be free

Free from those demons

Demons flying inside us

Leave them behind

Don’t nurture them

They’ll just die

And we’ll thrive

You and me

Together, free

I am with you

You

You’re sweet as nectar

Darling as a blossoming rose

A rose that carries a lovely aroma

An aroma that stays with me, I savor it

You’re a treasure, priceless, because you’re you

You’re you, and that’s as amazing as you can be

I’d say I’m in love with you, but won’t be too direct

I’ll say, I’m in love with knowing you, makes me smile

Smiling now, just thinking about you, you’re an inspiration, to me, yes you are

Like a butterfly, shy and timid, flew into my life, beautiful wings, nervously flying

Fluttering above my vision, I couldn’t look away, this butterfly was so beautiful

As beautiful as you are, like a butterfly, you came into my life at a good time

But the time got better, the more I got to know you, the more, I fell in love with this being

You have a wise soul, a youthful spirit and an open heart, fly free, feel free in life

Maybe, you’re overflowing with lack of hope, discouragement, maybe you feel dead

Numb, empty, tired of being afraid of your emotions, you can free yourself, believe

Believe me, life is a mess, at times, at times, life is indescribable, one thing, you

You, you, you, a bright light shining in my life, lifting up my spirits, inspiring me
