Hidden Beauty

Hidden Beauty

A Poem by Emily

Beautiful tapestries hang over the colored walls

Fabric glistens as the sun shines

Lavender and mauve colors stand out

Exciting patterns fascinate my being

Openly-hearted, I take a long look and gaze at the tapestries and beyond

Violet walls make it nice and simplistic

Grasshoppers ornately sewn onto a few tapestries

Peaches hanging from trees, delicately sewn on

Savor the moments of breathing in

Now acknowledge there’s always a place of hidden beauty
