Parasite

Parasite

A Poem by Theo Ratcliffe
"

The other day one of my teachers asked me to write a poem using ten words that I found beautiful and ten words that I found ugly. This was the final poem that I came up with, tell me what you think.

"

Parasite

The blood rain fell from the light clouds,

as the radiant sun lingered over the scene.

The scene of an elegant catastrophe.

His family shrieked at the sight,

an ignorant smile on his face.

It was a joyous death,

no a perfect death.

For a parasite like him.

A parasite that had a fondness for pain,

and sorrow.
