Nothingness

Nothingness

A Story by Theo Ratcliffe

You're standing on a cliff, looking over the edge wondering if you're ready.

You try to turn back but a force pushes you forward, over the edge.

You then find yourself falling, falling for seconds which turn into minutes. The minutes turn into hours and the hours turn into days.

You're continuously falling, falling into nothing.

As you fall you wonder to yourself, is it really worth it? Was falling really the right choice, do I even have a reason to be falling. How long will I be falling for, when can I give up. What am I leaving behind?

But you keep falling,

falling into nothingness.

ignore grammar and spelling problems, still working on this so it's not fully done, but would love reviews on it so far.

I like what you wrote. I can clearly imagine falling like this; I can't describe it now, but something about this is oddly satisfying as well as terrifying.
