JumpA Story by Theo RatcliffeAs you run away from society, leaving the rules and lies behind you, a darkness starts to follow you. It haunts you, wanting you to give up. But you don't and keep running. Thats when It pushes you, and you find yourself falling. Falling over a cliff edge, falling off the edge of the world, and theres nothing you can do, but fall. So you do. With each moment that passes gravity pulls you down to the ground, that your body is getting closer and closer to. You shut your eyes, if you can't see it can't happen. But it does and as your body hits the ground you feel yourself shatter into a million pieces of glass. You panic and open your eyes but you don't see the ground, or yourself in fact you only see gates, the gates, and for the first time you feel scared. You know what this means, you had your time and you wasted it the gates are here and so are you. Its time for you to give you. “Jump” a man speaks. “Jump” you hear it again, and look around confused. “Jump” you look for the ground, but never find one. “Jump” the mans voice pleading you to give up, but you don’t. © 2015 Theo RatcliffeAuthor's Note
